July Israeli Dance Workshops Washington, DC

This upcoming weekend hosts an unique Israeli dance workshop in the DC
region. The guest teacher is Meliss Jakubovic Bachar, a young, but expert
Israeli dance teacher and choreographer from Atlanta. She leads the two
largest sessions in Atlanta and is the director of the Atlanta teen
performance troupe named Nitzanim. For more information about Meliss please

Meliss will be teaching during the daytime workshops on Saturday and Sunday
and will be energizing the dancing at both evening dance parties. She will
teach circles, lines, and partner Israeli dances. The dances taught during
the day will be played at the night parties. Below is the schedule.

with a large, supportive gathering.

$12 general admission at the door, $8 students (under 25 yrs old with
student ID) at the door

Saturday, July 31, 8:30-?am Dance Party/Marathon in Washington, DC area (minimal teaching)
$14 general admission at the door, $10 students (under 25 yrs old w/student
ID) at the door

Sunday, August 1st 1:30-4pm Workshop (teaching)
$12 general admission at the door, $8 students (under 25 yrs old w/ student
ID) at the door

Sunday 7-11:30pm August 1st Dance Party (minimal teaching)
$12 general admission at the door, $8 students (under 25 yrs old w/ student
ID) at the door

There will be two DVD's for sale: a beginners DVD and the workshop DVD.
There will be a CD available of all of the dances taught at the workshop.
Each DVD: $20, Each CD: $10
